Artists and content creators who want to make money on it can sign up to join the company’s YouTube Partners program. They can earn money only if they meet certain conditions which include –
- Those who have at least 1,000 subscribers.
- Those who have more than 4,000 watch times in the last 12 months.
- Users should note that there is no violation of Community Guidelines in their YouTube account.
- Users have to access their AdSense account and link it to their channel.
When can YouTube terminate your account from the program?
YouTube states that each channel that applies to be part of the program is reviewed. “We regularly review and remove channels that do not comply with our policies,” the company blog said, adding that channels that violate hate speech, harassment, and misinformation policies are removed from the YouTube Partner Program.
