How to Play Google Solitaire?

To start playing, simply go to Google.com and type “solitaire” into the search bar. The first result should be a link to the game. Click on it and the game will load up in your browser window.

The objective of the game is to clear all of the cards from the tableau. The tableau is made up of seven columns of cards, with each column having a different number of cards (from 1 to 7). The goal is to move all of the cards from the tableau onto the foundation piles.

The foundation piles are located at the top of the screen, and there are four of them. The Ace pile is for Aces only, the Two pile is for Twos only, and so on. You can only place a card onto a foundation pile if it matches the suit AND value of the card already on that pile.

For example, you can place a Two of Hearts onto an Ace of Hearts foundation pile, but you cannot place a Three of Hearts onto an Ace of Hearts foundation pile.

To move cards around on the tableau, simply click and drag them with your mouse. Cards can only be moved if they are valid moves according to Solitaire rules – see below for more details
