MP IPS officers transfer: The Home Ministry of Madhya Pradesh has transferred several IPS officers late on Saturday night.
The state government transferred 39 IPS officers shortly after the transfers of the collectors of 14 districts. These include IPS officers of DG, ADG, IG, and SP levels.
The SP of Raisen district, Monika Shukla, will now be the SP of Vidisha district, while the SP of Raisen district has been posted as Assistant Inspector General of Police, PHQ.
Significantly, till August 31, the government had lifted the ban for transfers, even after this, transfer orders of other departments are being issued.
MP IPS officers who have transferred
- 1987 batch IPS officer Pawan Kumar Jain has been made Director General (DG) of Home Guard from Director Sports and Youth Welfare Department.
- DC Sagar, a 1992 batch IPS officer, has been posted as Additional Director General (AIG) in Shahdol Zone. Earlier, Sagar was working as Additional Director General of Police in PTI in Bhopal.
- Janardan, a 1992 batch IPS officer, has been made Additional Director General of Police, PTRI at Bhopal Police Headquarters from Shahdol Additional Director General of Police.
- Ravi Kumar Gupta of 1993 batch has been made the Director of New Sports and Youth Welfare. Earlier, Gupta was posted as Additional Director General of Police in the Economic Offenses Cell.
- Ashutosh Rai, a 1994 batch IPS officer, has been shifted from Additional Director General of Police Jail to Additional Director General of Police Balaghat Zone.
- Yogesh Deshmukh, of 1995 batch, has been removed from the post of Additional Director General of Police, Ujjain Zone and made Additional Director General of Police, Cyber Cell located at Bhopal Police Headquarters.
- KP Venkateswara Rai of 1995 batch has been made Additional Director General of Police of Rewa Zone. Earlier Rao was Additional Director General of Police of Balaghat Zone.
- Yogesh Chaudhary, a 1996 batch IPS officer, has been posted as Additional Director General of Police, Cyber Cell Bhopal, in the Additional Director General of Police Secretariat-2. Their headquarters will be the police headquarters.
- Umesh Joga of 1997 batch has been removed from the post of Inspector General of Rewa Zone and made Inspector General of Police in Jabalpur.
- Deepika Suri of 1999 batch has been posted from Inspector General of Police Disaster Management Home Guard to Inspector General of Police Hoshangabad Zone.
- Santosh Kumar Singh of 2000 batch has been posted as Inspector General of Police in Ujjain Zone from Inspector General of Police (Secretary).
- Jitendra Singh of 2001 batch has been removed from the post of Inspector General of Police Hoshangabad and posted as Inspector General of Police (Women Crime) Police Headquarters.
- BS Chauhan, a 2002 batch IPS officer, has been transferred from Inspector General, Jabalpur, to DIG, Bhopal, at PHQ Bhopal.
- At the same time, Ashok Goel, a 2003 batch IPS officer, has been shifted from the IG Police Headquarters to the Inspector General of Police, Police Reforms Department at Bhopal Police Headquarters.
SP and ASP transfers – MP IPS officers
The Home Department of the State Government has transferred many officers of DG Home Guard, ADG and IG levels.

Along with this, the SP and ASP of many districts of the state have also been changed. This list has been released on Saturday night.
MP IPS officers who have taken charge as SP
- The 2009 batch IPS officer, Mr. Navneet Bhasin, has been made the Superintendent of Police (SP) of Rewa, earlier Bhasin was working as Assistant Inspector General of Police in the Police Headquarters.
- IPS Sunil Kumar Pandey of 2009 batch has been made Superintendent of Police of Mandsaur district from Assistant Inspector General of Police PHQ.
- Monika Shukla, a 2009 batch IPS officer, has been made SP of Vidisha district from Raisen. Monika Shukla will now look after the Chief Minister’s area.
- Sunil Kumar Jain of 2009 batch has been removed from the post of SP of Jabalpur Railway and made SP of Katni.
- TK Vidyarthi, a 2009 batch IPS officer, has been removed from the 34th Corps Visbal Dhar and made the Superintendent of Police of Niwari district.
- Nimish Aggarwal of 2010 batch has been removed from Barwani SP and made SP of Indore PTS.
- Manoj Kumar Singh of 2010 batch has been removed from Assistant Inspector General of Police PHQ and made SP of Alirajpur.
- Rakesh Kumar Singh of 2010 batch has been posted from Rewa SP to 13th Corps in Gwalior.
- Mayank Awasthi of 2012 batch has been made SP of Sehore district from Superintendent of Police Katni.
- 2013 batch IPS officer Vinayak Verma has been removed from Vidisha Superintendent of Police and made SP of Jabalpur Railway.
- Deepak Kumar Shukla, a 2014 batch IPS officer, has been made the SP of Barwani from the 13th Corps Visbal Gwalior.
- Gurukaran Singh of 2014 batch has been removed from the post of SP of Bhopal Cyber Cell and made SP of Hoshangabad district.
- Vikas Kumar Sehwal, a 2014 batch IPS officer, has been made SP of Raisen from Umaria SP.
- 2014 batch IPS officer Nivedita Gupta has been made Indore SP (Rail) from Fighter 14th Corps Gwalior.
- Shashindra Chauhan of 2014 batch has been removed from Superintendent of Police Sehore and made SP of PTS Sagar.
- Kiranlata Kerketta has been posted as SP of Indore Railway to Assistant Inspector General of Police, Bhopal Headquarters.
- At the same time, Alok Kumar has been posted as Fighter 14th Vehicle Visbal Gwalior from Niwari SP.
- Siddharth Chaudhary has been removed from the post of SP Mandsaur and posted as Fighter 24th Corps Visbal Javra Ratlam.
- Pramod Kumar Sinha has been made SP of Umaria district from Assistant Inspector General of Police PHQ.
- Apart from these, Vijay Bhagwani has been removed from the post of SP of Alirajpur district and posted as Assistant Inspector General of Police PHQ.
Santosh Singh Gaur has been promoted
The state government has removed 2009 batch IPS officer Santosh Singh Gaur from Hoshangabad Superintendent of Police and posted him as Assistant Inspector General of Police at PHQ.
The state government has issued a separate order for him.
