Agar.io is a multiplayer online game developed by Matheus Valadares. The objective is to grow a cell by consuming other players’ cells and Agar (a jelly-like substance).

Gameplay
The primary goal is to achieve the highest mass by the end of the round. Players control their cell using a mouse or touchpad, allowing for movement in any direction. As the cell grows larger by consuming smaller cells and Agar (a jelly-like substance), it gradually speeds up. Players can split their cells into smaller pieces using the spacebar to consume others or evade predators.
The more mass a player accumulates, the higher their score. The game can be played solo or with multiple players, offering various modes.
Popular Game Modes
There are a total of 8 modes in the game but 3 of them are, the most popular:
- Free For All (FFA): There is no team play, and players can only consume cells that are smaller than themselves.
- Teams: The team with the most points at the end of the game wins. In Teams, players are divided into two or more teams depending on the number of players in the game.
- Party Mode: players are randomly assigned to one of four teams at the start of the game, indicated by the different colored borders around each player’s cell.
