SWAT agents center Los Suenos, America. Realism is a central pillar of the experience, with players and suspects killed in just a few shots.

Ready or Not” is an immersive tactical shooter video game where players assume the role of the character “Judge,” the leader of a police tactical unit engaged in combat against criminals. The gameplay emphasizes realism, where swift, lethal exchanges occur, underscoring the need for astute tactical maneuvers and meticulous planning.

A diverse array of weaponry is at the player’s disposal, including rifles, submachine guns, shotguns, and handguns. This arsenal offers extensive customization options, encompassing sights, rail attachments, suppressors, and various other enhancements.

Given the law enforcement context, capturing suspects alive is strongly advocated. To this end, an assortment of non-lethal tools like tasers, riot guns, and pepper spray offer alternatives to lethal force.

Players earn more points for apprehending suspects rather than resorting to lethal measures. However, it’s worth noting that certain less-lethal weapons, like beanbag shotguns and pepperball guns, can still result in either incapacitation or unfortunate casualties among suspects and civilians alike.

Players are prompted to restrain downed suspects by handcuffing them, as some may feign incapacitation or even simulate their demise in an attempt to ambush the player. When employing lethal force, players are advised to target the suspect’s center of mass.

Modes

Ready or Not offers a total of five gameplay modes, each presenting unique challenges and rules of engagement that influence the course of action players must take:
