Tetris is a hypercasual online puzzle game that can be played on a computer using keyboard arrow keys. The original version was created by Alexey Pajitnov in 1985.

Tetris is available on various platforms, including Game Boy, Nintendo Entertainment System, Android, DOS, and more. On April 24, 2017, SPIL GAMES published the web browser version of the game. As of July 2024, the desktop version can be played on Infrexa Games for free without any restrictions.

Gameplay

The objective of Tetris is to manipulate different geometric-shaped blocks, known as tetrominoes, as they fall from the top of the playing area. The goal is to arrange these blocks to form complete horizontal lines across the width of the screen.

As you progress, the tetrominoes fall faster, challenging your speed and reflexes. If you fail to clear lines and allow them to reach the top of the screen, it’s game over.

To move or rotate a falling tetromino, use the arrow keys on your keyboard. Tetrominoes can be rotated until they reach the bottom field. You can accelerate their fall but not slow them down or stop them.

When a horizontal line is formed, it disappears, and the blocks above slip one rank down, earning you points.
